'Plan ahead' when considering what to do in London
Published: Tuesday 1st of September 2009
Forward planning is crucial for anyone who wants to make the most of a holiday, which may include a trip to London attractions, it has been said.
Spokesperson at TripAdvisor Amelie Hurst believes it can help people understand the customs and traditions of somewhere they are planning to visit.
"Researching a destination before travelling to it can mean the difference between a dream holiday and a living nightmare," she suggested.
Garmin recently revealed that London would be the tourist hotspot for British holidaymakers this year, warding off competition from the likes of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
The research showed that nearly a fifth of people would be embarking on a sightseeing trip in London, with many also intending on making it an educational visit.
