Published: Sunday 3rd of May 2009

Film fanatics might want to consider taking a trip to Tate Britain over the coming weeks to make the most of a Polish exhibition.

Between May 2nd and June 28th, people can take in the work of Stefan Themerson and Franciszka Themerson, who produced a total of five films between 1930 and 1937.

Among them is the Adventures of a Good Citizen, which will be making an appearance at the event and marks the only surviving pre-war film by the duo.

It also includes a series of photographs and film footage from during the Second World War and is described as a "complex cinematic collage".

Calling Mr Smith is another of the ten-minute films to be shown and was made in London in 1943.

People thinking of visiting Tate Britain can make the most of it with the London Pass, which gives holders a free audio guide of the attraction.
