Surrealist things to do in London
Published: Thursday 10th of June 2010
Tourists keen on experiencing artistic London attractions in the capital this summer may be interested in the Surreal House exhibition being hosted at the Barbican Art Gallery.
A bizarre labyrinth of chambers has been designed within the gallery by architect Carmody Groarke, which will display the work by various acclaimed artists.
Works by Salvador Dali, Alberto Giacometti, Marcel Duchamp and many others will be displayed from today (June 10th) until September 12th.
There will also be talks, performances and artists' film in the gallery held on every Thursday throughout the exhibition's tenure at the venue.
Standard tickets are priced at from £8, while concessions cost £7.
The Courtauld Gallery will be hosting a special summer display of its art work gathered following its move to Somerset House two decades ago, beginning June 17th and running until September 19th.
