National Portrait Gallery goes digital

Top London attraction the National Portrait Gallery has had a revamp of its website, making it even easier for tourists to plan their visit.

Among its features is an improved navigation system, which enables would-be visitors to see what's in store for them at one of the country's finest art collections.

"The website is a wonderful and critical part of the National Portrait Gallery's future. This is an excellent step forward," says Sandy Nairne, director of the National Portrait Gallery.

Art addicts who have visited the National Portrait Gallery will be able to use the website to view the galleries once they get home, making it the perfect memento from their visit to London.

Tourists can also take a digital tour of the London attraction before checking out the What's On section to plan their next visit.

Holders of the LondonPass can gain free entry to special exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery, saving £5 per adult and £4 per child.
