Published: Saturday 27th of June 2009

Visitors to London are invited to take a look at the Apsley House Art Collection, which claims to have some of the finest art works in the city.

With around 200 paintings on show, it is described as a "treasure trove of pictures", which were recently the property of the King of Spain.

They were removed from the Spanish royal palaces by the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte and are now on show in this top London attraction.

Works from the likes of Murillo and Velazquez are exhibited, making it a must-see experience for any art fanatic heading to the city.

Those looking to slash the cost of their visit to London can take advantage of the London Pass, which gives free entry to a number of top attractions.

Apsley House is one of them, meaning adults can save themselves £5.70 on the price of a ticket and children £2.90.
