After taking in London attractions next month, visit London Art Fair
Published: Wednesday 30th of December 2009
The London Art Fair is returning to the city next month and will give art lovers the chance to view pieces from famous and emerging artists after a morning visiting other London galleries and attractions.
Established in 1988, the London Art Fair includes modern and contemporary British art from over 100 leading UK galleries.
A popular section of the fair, called Art projects, is to be expanded and will include 25 projects from international galleries such as Foley Gallery (New York) and Gallery Baer (Dresden).
The fair will take place at the Business Design Centre in Islington from January 13th to 17th. It is within walking distance from the Angel station of the London Underground, providing access across the city near to many London attractions.
Business Design Centre is currently displaying Wunderkammer, the Chamber of Discoveries, which includes work from artists from across the world all focusing on the idea of an ordinary room in a house as a place where things can be collected and displayed.
