And there's plenty for tourists and visitors to the city to get their teeth into. As you venture through the streets of Wembley, it is hard not to get caught up in the history of the game of football and all of those legends who represent the nation.
The best place to start your journey has to be with a Wembley Stadium Tour. If you have ever wondered why it is that us Brits get so passionate about football and the significance it holds for the nation, then these tours are for you.
Wembley is London's largest and most prestigious sporting stadium. Here you will embark upon a journey of discovery, learning about everything from England's glorious World Cup victory in 1966, the unbeatable Live Aid concert in 1985, to the historic ongoing tradition of the FA Cup final.
If you want to experience and relive some of the most memorable moments of British football, then you'll absolutely love this tour.
Within the confines of one of the most famous stadiums in the world, these tours take a behind-the-scenes look at football, which will unveil a series of discoveries about its history.
Your guided tour will include access to the England Stadium rooms and you will also be able to venture onto the stadium itself where you can take some amazing photos.
But if you really want to re-enact the drama and excitement of the game, and experience the stadium from the point of view of a player, then why not take a walk through the players' tunnel while you're there or visit the Royal Box to get your hands on the FA Cup?
Each guided tour lasts around 75 minutes and gives access to the exclusive Club Wembley Middle Tier, England dressing rooms and Press Conference Room.
At the end of the tour, all visitors can enjoy the Exhibition of Champions. This is a magnificent free visitor attraction celebrating 56 years of glorious European football history.
It is here that prize exhibits are featured, which include David Beckham's jersey from Manchester United's victorious 1999 campaign and Graeme Souness' three winners' medals from '78, '81 and '84.
The Wembley tour also includes the FA 150 Exhibition which celebrates 150 years of English football.
And while you're in Wembley, why not take a trip to the Hindu temple, BAPs Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, which is just 18 minutes away.
The temple is decorated with some of the most beautiful Indian art designs and surrounded by the deities and motifs representing the sacred faith and beliefs of a people dating back over 8,500 years.
