Things to do in London: Visit the founding fathers at Benjamin Franklin House
Published: Saturday 25th of May 2013
Located not far from Trafalgar Square, this historic building is the only remaining residence of Benjamin Franklin.
It also happens to be one of the most widely recognised centres for studies related to Franklin.
A number of tours are held throughout the week for guests. These include an architectural tour, as well as a Historical Experience show.
Here visitors can learn first hand what life was like for Franklin in the 17th century, which explores the complex and intriguing life of one of the founding fathers of America.
The Historical Experience lasts for around one hour and covers three floors of the building.
This attraction also contains a student science centre which allows schoolchildren to conduct their own scientific 'experiments'.
