Published: Thursday 4th of April 2013

If you are a lover of horticulture and you are on the hunt for fun things to do in London, then they don't get much better than the Garden Museum.

Guests who are interested in exploring the design and history of gardens in the capital, then this attraction is ideal.

Highlights of the attraction include artefacts from the museum’s collection of paintings, garden tools and ephemera.

They also have a number of exciting events coming up this year including a festival dedicated to garden literature, in the Barn Garden created by Tom and Sue Stuart-Smith at Serge Hill in Hertfordshire.

The festival is the first of its kind and will feature two days of garden writing on June 29th and 30th.

There will also be a special visit by Lady Proby, 3rd baronetess, who will open the Elton Hall garden, along with the private terrace and billiard room on June 28th.
