Things to do in London: Kick back with a thought-provoking film at the Curzon Renoir
Published: Saturday 10th of November 2012
Rust and Bone is the critically acclaimed movie from director Jacques Audiard, and is one that film buffs certainly won't want to miss.
Described by the cinema as a "taut, romantic drama," the film looks at two lost souls. Marion Cotillard plays Stephanie, who works in a marine theme park and meets Alain, played by Matthias Schoenaerts.
However, when they meet again, Stephanie has had a tragic accident and her anger draws her into his violent world.
Another option is Ginger and Rose, featuring fast-rising star Elle Fanning. This film is a stunning portrayal of post-war Britain through the eyes of a young teenager who is increasingly estranged from her mother and drawn increasingly into the life of her unconventional father.
