Things to do in London: Enjoy some horticultural poetry at the Garden Museum

Published: Sunday 19th of May 2013

There is scarcely anything more pleasant than a beautiful garden on a sunny day, so if you are on the lookout for great things to do in London, be sure to check out the Garden Museum.

The museum is not only situated among beautiful settings but is also known to host literary festivals, talks and family activities.

It is one of the only museums of its kind and is unique in that the majority of exhibitions there are outside.

It features three major displays on different aspects of the garden, which include relics from the museum's treasure house of garden tools, ephemera and paintings.
One of its upcoming events is called 'A Friend, a Book and a Garden: A Festival of Garden Literature' which takes place on June 29th and 30th.

It is one of the first ever festivals of writing that has been organised in the Barn Garden and will feature a two-day celebration of horticultural literature.
