Things to do in London: Beethoven concert to wow visitors at St Paul's Cathedral

Beethoven will take centre-stage at St Paul's Cathedral next month, which will no doubt come as a delight to classical music fans looking for things to do in London.
The sounds of Beethoven's epic ninth symphony is set to be performed next month on the 7th. The concert is part of the Lord Mayor's Appeal which aims to raise money for the mayor's chosen charities.
Also known as the Choral Symphony because of its famous Ode to Joy finale the medley will be performed by the English Chamber Orchestra with Choir of the 21st Century and singers from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Drama.
The list of charities chosen by the current Lord Mayor include, City Music Foundation, Future for Kids, Gifford Wood Appeal, The Harold Samuel Collection and the Lord Mayor's Scholarship Programme.
St Paul's Cathedral was built between 1675 and 1710 and throughout its history has been renowned for holding various concerts and performances.
