Scare yourself silly this Halloween at the London Bridge Experience

Published: Tuesday 11th of September 2012

People seeking out scary London attractions in the run up to Halloween should head straight to the London Bridge Experience for fright and fun.

Visitors to the world's most haunted bridge will travel back in time to London's murky past to discover the capital's gruesome history.

Making their way through a disused railway tunnel, guests will find themselves in the middle of a battle between the fearsome Queen Boudica and the legions of Rome.

Danger lurks around every corner as unwitting visitors creep down through the misty halls of the infamous Viking kings, crossing a rickety wooden bridge on their way.

The Tudors were known for their love of gruesome executions, and those who want to find out more can try out a spot of hanging, drawing and quartering at the Gate House with the resident executioner.

Before they emerge blinking into the sunlight, visitors will wander the streets of Victorian Southwark as they try to avoid Jack the Ripper, before braving the terrifying Hell's Portal.

Get free entry to over 55 top London attractions with a London Pass.
