Queen's Coronation festival 2013

The nation is gearing up for the Queen's Coronation festival which is set to take place later this week, which will undoubtedly provide plenty of fun things to do in London for overseas visitors.

Buckingham Palace has always been a tourist hotspot and it is one of the best known landmarks in the capital.

Home to the most famous royal family on the planet, the palace is often host to a large number of grand and prestigious activities.

The Coronation is one such activity and is part of the Queen's 60th Jubilee celebrations. From July 11th - 14th, visitors will be able to participate in the four-day celebration, which comes complete with fun, food and music.

What better way to celebrate the cultural heritage of Britain, than to take part in one of the most important royal festivals of the year?

Not only will guests get a chance to immerse themselves in the stunning greenery of the gardens on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, they will also be able to witness the technological and stylish exhibits by some of the top designers in the country.

A number of exhibitors will showcase the latest in interior home design, fashion and contemporary technological innovations that have been brought about during the reign of the current monarch.

Interactive displays, and a unique insight into inventions of the future will be available during the festival, with leading UK brands set to take centre-stage among the exhibits.

Guests will also get a chance to indulge their taste-buds with some of the best-loved food and wine delicacies from across the UK.

Bendicks, Walkers Shortbread and Pimms are just some of the most renowned British brand-names that will be making an appearance at the festival.

And for those who truly want a taste of prestige and paradise, then the Ritz London will also be included among the exhibitors on the day.

In addition, there will be some spectacular performances at the evening gala, which will be a  celebration of the past 60 years of performing arts in the UK. The concerts will take place on July 11th, 12th and 13th.
