Pollock’s Toy Museum provides kids with fun things to do in London
Published: Wednesday 20th of March 2013
If you are out and about with the kids and are on the hunt for fun things to do in London, then you can’t do much better than Pollock’s Toy Museum.
Let’s face it. What kid doesn’t like toys and games? There is hardly a child on the planet that does not appreciate things to play with and so if you’re touring the city, this toy museum will be right up their street. Not only do they get to learn about the history behind all of their favourite toys, but they also get a chance to own a new toy, thanks to the toyshop on the ground floor.
But this museum is not just for the kids. It is also a perfect place for adults to reminisce over evocative childhood memories with relics from the early 18th century and 19th century as well as more recent displays from the 20th century.
The museum contains six different rooms, packed with displays of board games, puppets, teddies and dolls, to name but a few.
