London attractions: War Child draws to a close at the British Music Museum
Published: Wednesday 24th of April 2013
War Child was founded in 1993 by filmmaker Bill Leeson and writer David Wilson in response to the conflict in the former Yugoslavia.
In a fascinating exploration of British music history, the collaboration between War Child, musicians, artists and fans, will be marked with the auction of exclusive items from the exhibition.
The money will be used to support both War Child and Britain’s Museum of Popular Music.
Other highlights of the attraction include the Gibson Interactive Studio, where you can try your hand at making your very own album, and memorabilia from artists such as Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and many, many more.
The museum is also renowned for holding seminars and public programmes, as well as music history lessons.
