London attractions: Take the kids to London Brass Rubbing Centre

Published: Saturday 19th of January 2013

People looking for things to do in London could take their family on a trip to London Brass Rubbing Centre, which is a fantastic way to learn history for both children and adults.

There are 90 replica brasses on offer, including medieval knights in armour, ladies wearing elegant dresses, St George & the Dragon, and even William Shakespeare.

Visitors to the museum will end up with a piece of superb artwork that they can take away as a gift or as a souvenir to take home and show off to their family and friends.

Mums and dads who want to entertain themselves while the kids get on with the activities can relax at the cafe with a glass of wine, or head to the shop for a browse.

If you fancy seeing a few more London attractions afterward, why not head to Benjamin Franklin House, which is situated nearby?

This was the residence of inventor, writer, philosopher and founding father of the US Benjamin Franklin in London between the years 1757 and 1775, during which time he was doing very important work.
