London attractions: Take part in London Wetland Centre's winter activities

Published: Wednesday 23rd of January 2013

People looking for London attractions at which they can observe the natural beauty of winter should consider visiting the London Wetland Centre.

Running until February 10th, visitors can enjoy an itinerary of activities perfect for a winter day out in nature.

At 11.00 GMT the Wetlands Centre holds an otter feeding session which visitors can go along to if they want to see the cute sea creatures and learn more about them.

A nature crafts session is to kick off at 11.30 GMT. In this, visitors will be able to make a simple bird feeder to attract feathered friends to their home.

Bird Bonanza is next at 13.30 - 14.00 GMT, which is perfect for people with a fascination for the creatures. Attendees will find out about the birds visiting the wetlands in winter and discover bird-related objects.

They will also be given a pair of binoculars which can be used to spot birds and colour in a duck's plumage.
