London attractions: Stand above the River Thames with the London Tower Bridge Exhibition
Published: Sunday 12th of May 2013
If you want to literally feel like you are standing on top of London, then the Tower Bridge Exhibition is ideal.
London attractions don't get much better this, for not only can you enjoy breathtaking views of the city you can also explore some amazing art pieces too.
The bridge was built in 1894 and is recognised the world over.
Following an animated video about the history of the Tower Bridge Exhibition, visitors are then invited to explore the high level walkways, 42 metres above the River Thames.
Perhaps unusually for such an attraction, there is also the Victorian Engine Rooms, home of the original steam engines.
In actual fact, this room uncovers some of the history of the sophisticated technology which played a pivotal role in keeping the bridge in motion.
The attraction also includes a brand new 'Art at the Bridge #4' exhibition which was created in partnership with Southwark Arts Forum.
