London attractions: Learn the language of the sea aboard HMS Belfast
Published: Saturday 27th of April 2013
That's right, for one of the highlights of this historic boat is that guests will be able to try their hand at 'jack-speak' and popular sailor expressions, used by the crew.
But if you don't fancy waiting until June to learn the language of the sea, then there are plenty of other activities for you to get your teeth into.
Coming up this May, you can attend the Points in a Compass exhibition, which will educate guests on the stories that emanated from the journeys aboard the HMS Belfast as it cruised the world.
And if for those who can't quite get your fill of sea stories, then there is a chance to go to their Sailor Tales exhibition which will bare all about life on board HMS Belfast from May 25th. This event is especially suitable for younger children.
