London attractions: Learn about Britain's fantastic musical heritage at the British Music Experience

From the Beatles to Bowie and Blur to Black Sabbath, Britain is known for its musical heritage, and what better place to celebrate this than at London attractions like the British Music Experience?

Featuring more than 3,000 images, 600 video clips and 3,000 artist videos, the British Music Experience invites visitors to trace historic, era-defining moments and trends throughout 60 years of music.

It is made up of eras, beginning with 1945-1962 - a time of Rock n Roll, Skiffle and Jazz - and spanning right up to 1993-Present, which features Girl and Boy Bands, Britpop and a BRIT Awards Showcase.

At the Core, visitors can Dance the Decades, learning one of 12 dances from the past 70 years, including the Twist, Disco, The Loca-Motion, Voguing and Raving.

Meanwhile, Where It's At is a geographical attraction which enables visitors to find out about the specific places and events that happened in their hometown.
