London attractions: Glide along the waterways of the capital with Jason's Original Canal Boat Tour

Published: Tuesday 7th of August 2012

People looking for things to do in London could get a unique perspective on the English capital with a Jason's Original Canal Boat Tour, which will take them on a ride through the city's more tranquil waterways.

Passengers can opt to disembark in Camden Lock, where they can peruse the quirky, world-famous market and pick up some very English souvenirs.

Alternatively, there is the option of the full one hour 30 minutes round trip along Regent's Canal, on which visitors will sail through Regent's Park for some great views of London Zoo.

After sailing on the famous canals of the capital, people may be interested in paying a visit to the Canal Museum, where they can learn the history of the waterways and the people and industries that once depended on them.

During a trip to the museum, tourists can glimpse the inside of a narrow boat cabin and can also learn more about the Victorian ice cream industry.

This is because the museum was once an ice-warehouse which was built for Carlo Gatti, a world-famous ice-cream maker.

Save time and money sightseeing in London with cheap entry to top attractions in London.
