London attractions: Eton College rich in cultural and educational achievements

If you have ever been curious about the history behind one of the UK’s most prestigious educational establishments, then Eton College surely has to be one of the most sophisticated of London attractions.
The college is a landmark of cultural importance for the UK and is saturated with a rich and varied heritage.
Eton has been around for nearly 600 years and was originally built by Henry VI for poor scholars.
Some of the most notable figures that have attended this college are Prince William and Prince Harry, as well as generations of aristocracy.
It has also taught around 19 former prime ministers, and many of its students go on to be educated at high-profile universities such as Oxford and Cambridge.
In that sense Eton has made its mark in history and allows the public to take a glimpse behind the scenes into this historic and famous institution.
