London attractions: Ducklings and butterflies take centre-stage at London Wetland Centre
Published: Tuesday 14th of May 2013
If you are looking for fun things to do in London with all the family this month, then why not pop down to the Wetland Centre, which is hosting a number of exciting half-term activities.
The centre is widely thought to be one of the best urban places in Europe to watch wildlife, and contains over 105 acres of lakes, ponds and marshes to explore.
During the half-term holiday, guests will be treated to a display of the cutest fluffy ducklings, who will be taking their first swim from May 25th.
Visitors can also enjoy the company of colourful butterflies, who reside at the Butterfly Jungles within the centre.
An expert will also be on hand inside the Theatre area, to give talks about these beautiful and delicate creatures.
This month, guests will get a chance to spot everything from ducks, swans and lizards, to insects, mallards and wild flowers.
So if you are heading down this month, it is certainly one not to be missed.
