London attractions: Don't miss Wimbledon 2013 this summer!

No tennis fan worth their salt would dare to miss the Wimbledon 2013 tournament, which will provide a constant source of sporty entertainment for those who are on the hunt for things to do in London.
The event is the biggest of the year and the 2013 tournament is set to be the 127th edition of the Wimbledon Championships and the third Grand Slam event of the year.
One of the most exciting events that will take place in the run-up to the championships is the Aegon International, which will see last year's victor and champion Tamira Paszek return to the courts to participate in the women's draw.
But the major championship itself will take place on June 24th and will include big name players, such as Andy Murray, Jade Windley, Sandra Murray, and Kyle Edmunds, to name but a few.
The event is managed by the International Tennis Federation and is part of the 2013 ATP World Tour and the 2013 WTA Tour.
But if you are not London at this time, then it is possible to take a tour of Wimbledon Tennis Club once the tournaments are over. Although tours are not available during the actual games themselves, it is possible to to visit these after July 7th when the tournament ends.
At the Wimbledon Tennis Club you will get a unique chance to take an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the club, and walk in the footsteps of some of the most famous players throughout the world.
The tour includes an exploration of the Wimbledon Tennis Museum, where you can meet the 'ghost' of John McEnroe which appears in the very changing room he once used.
This interactive tour contains film and video footage of some of the most celebrated moments in the history of tennis, and an impressive collection of relics and memorabilia dating all the way back to the 1500s.
You will also get a chance to see brand new 3D art film 'Viewpoint', which captures the essence of Wimbledon and allows visitors to delve into the history behind the historic venue. It also honours some of the most hair-raising moments of last year's championship tournaments.
So if you are in the city over the next few months, this should definitely be one of the top London attractions to stop by and watch some sporting fun.
