London attractions: Dine with Henry VIII at the Medieval Banquet
Published: Wednesday 31st of October 2012
Tourists step back in time with London attractions, and with the Medieval Banquet they can extend this olde worlde experience to their mealtimes too.
Diners are invited to eat, drink and be merry as part of a Tudor court filled with colourful magicians, jugglers, troubadours, contortionists, knights, minstrels and medieval tumblers.
They will enjoy a hearty four-course feast complete with ale and wine, all of which is served by dancing wenches.
Following the banquet, guests like to get up and have a dance themselves, and there are plenty of cocktails, wine and beer on offer the small bar.
Music covers the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, and is described as "robust, engaging and emotive".
"There are many opportunities to dance with the cast, sing, bang your fists on the table and cry for your wench to bring you more food or drink," promises the website.
