London attractions: Come and bear witness to musical magnificence at Westminster Abbey

Published: Saturday 13th of April 2013

There are plenty of things to do in London this month at Westminster Abbey, which is arguably one of the most significant historical landmarks in the city.

The cathedral has played host to kings, queens, famous poets, archbishops and aristocrats throughout its colourful and enchanting history.

The serene and atmosphere at the abbey is palpable and the concerts which take place here are truly a marvel to see.

One such concert is coming up on this month and will be held by Thomas Trotter, to celebrate his 30 year anniversary as an organist at St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey.

The inspiration for the upcoming pieces will be derived from artists such as Bach to Wagner, among others.

The concert will be held on April 18th at 6.30pm.
