With Britain finally being graced with some good weather, the London Wetland Centre is a fantastic location in which to spend a day among some colourful wildlife for things to do in London.

People visiting the unique location are bound to meet a wealth of wildfowl and wetland wildlife, with the centre widely believed to be the best urban site in the whole of Europe to observe wildlife.

It is difficult to believe that such a beautiful rural area could be in the heart of London but in actual fact it sits on the banks of the River Thames.

The Wetland Centre is home to species of wildlife including kingfishers, water voles and bitterns, and is ideal for people who love hiding out and seeing how animals live in their natural habitats.

There are 3.4km of pathways and bridges to explore at the Wetland Centre which link the different habitats.
