Published: Wednesday 27th of February 2013

If you want to learn more about one of the most notable figures throughout history, then the Benjamin Franklin House should certainly be on the top of your list of things to do in London.

You don’t have to go all the way to America to learn about one of their most famous founding fathers, you can do that right here in the city.

The house, located on Craven Street, was built in the 1730s and was recently featured in the BBC’s One Show which explored the Craven Street bones that were discovered at the house.

This attraction has no shortage of historical knowledge about both Benjamin Franklin and the life he lived.

It also features regular educational events and activities. Here, you can not only explore the historic backdrop of the building but you may also have the chance to visit the Student Science Centre and Scholarship Centre contained within the house.
