Hailed as a fashion icon and a fairytale princess, Princess Diana was one of the most beloved royals in history, and people looking for London attractions that can shed more light on her style should head to Kensington Palace.

The Diana: glimpses of a modern princess exhibition is a small but special display of some of the dresses the Princess of Wales wore in her time in the public eye.

This exhibition will delight fans of Diana, but also be useful to fashion students because, as the palace points out "few people have had an impact on fashion in the same way as Princess Diana".

As a young princess her clothes were simple and demure, but as she grew in confidence she transformed into the nineties style icon people knew.
