London attractions: Explore the seven seas with London Maritime Museum

If you have an interest in exploring tales of the seven seas, then the National Maritime Museum should definitely be top of your list of London attractions to visit.

Here you can learn about some of the world's most famous explorers and the history of Britain's seafaring.

Guests of this museum will get a chance to delve into the artwork relating to maritime travel, calligraphy and ships.

The attraction is based in Greenwich and it also incorporates other national treasures such as the Queen's House, Royal Observatory and Cutty Sark.

It is probably one of the largest museums of its kind in the world and also features many interactive activities, events and shows that visitors can get their teeth into.

You can also browse the Caird library at the museum which is thought to hold the world's largest maritime historical reference section which literally includes hundreds of thousands of books, manuscripts and pamphlets.
