Theatre fans looking for things to do in London could embark on a National Theatre backstage tour to get a glimpse of life behind the scenes.
Led by knowledgeable and entertaining guides, attendees will visit the backstage areas of the three theatres, tracing the footsteps of some of the greatest actors and directors of the past 35 years.
The National Theatre is a busy and bustling acting space, with around 20 new productions put on every year.
Rehearsals, set-building and prop and costume making all take place on site, and no two days are the same, meaning no two tours are ever the same.
The tours run up to six times each day on Monday to Friday, twice on a Saturday and once on a Sunday.
Currently showing at the National Theatre is Grief, by Mike Leigh, which follows the story of war widow Dorothy in 1957 and her family.
