Get a glimpse behind the scenes at Wembley for things to do in London

Published: Sunday 17th of February 2013

There are many sporting arenas available to visit for people looking for things to do in London, but Wembley Stadium is surely one of the most iconic.

Over the years, the venue has seen many now-famous events, including England's World Cup victory in 1966, 1985's Live Aid concert or the ongoing tradition of the FA Cup final.

Sports fans embarking on a tour of Wembley are invited to "follow in the footsteps of legends".

They will be able to sense the history in the England Changing Room, experience the tension of the Players tunnel, climb the 107 sacred Trophy Winner's steps and take photographs of some of the best views in the stadium.

Visitors can also take Roy Hodgson's hot-seat in the press room and visit the Royal Box to get their hands on the FA Cup.

This is the perfect day out for sports fans looking for things to do in the capital - and why not try a Chelsea Stadium Tour, a trip to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis or a visit to Twickenham World Rugby Museum too?
