Enjoy the Design Museum's fun day for family things to do in London

Families looking for cultural things to do in London should take a trip to the Design Museum on Sunday October 14th for a day of fun.

Intended to entertain children between the ages of five and 11, there are a whole host of design-based activities on offer.

Designer in residence Yuri Suzuki will be on hand for drop in sessions between 11am and 4pm, and guests can try out his amazing sound machine the Colour Chaser.

Sports fans will want to check out the Drop In Creativity Workshop: Sports Collage, where they can create a collage with the Zombie Collective using laser cut paper pieces on a sporting theme.

If acting is more your thing, then try the other creativity workshop - a shadow puppet theatre. Visitors will use simple materials and modelling techniques in order to create their very own shadow puppet theatre.

Vanessa Woolf will also be in attendance doing some storytelling in the Designed to Win gallery.
