Enjoy a vibrant season at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

William Shakespeare is one of England's most famous exports, and people looking for things to do in London will not want to miss a trip to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre if they are a fan of the Bard.
The beginning of 2013 heralds the start of a bold and vibrant theatre season for the venue, with A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and Macbeth sitting at the heart of the schedule.
Three new plays will also receive world premieres at the theatre: Che Walker's The Lightning Child, Blue Stocking by Jessica Swale, and Gabriel by Samuel Adamson.
Visitors to the unique venue will also want to take advantage of the Globe Exhibition and Tour, which gives people an opportunity to learn more about the building and its most famous playwright.
The exhibition gives onlookers a glimpse into the London that Shakespeare inhabited, with its raucous taverns and bawdy houses.
