Eltham Palace adds a touch of royalty to London attractions
Published: Wednesday 13th of March 2013
The palace was built in the 1300s and has been home to many of the royals over the years. It is also one of the only English Art Deco houses open to the public and is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
And if you are stopping by the palace at the end of this month, then there is an easter family fun trail which is perfect if you’re bringing the kids along.
The event takes place on March 31st until April 4th. There is also a talk on contemporary art and how it compares with traditional designs, which is led by curator Annie Kemkaran-Smith.
It is open to all members of English Heritage and takes place on April 25th next month.
But if you would like to know more about the fascinating history of the palace and delve into some medieval art and architecture, then you definitely won’t be disappointed.
