Cartoon Museum gives families fun things to do in London

Published: Tuesday 5th of March 2013

If you’re a fan of cartoons, or you have a little one who is, then the Cartoon Museum is probably one of the most ideal of London attractions you can go to.

The museum itself is only six years old, and covers the history and progress of British animations dating back from the 18th century.

It also features artwork on many classics such as Dennis the Menace, The Beano, Desperate Dan and many more.

If you go on a Saturday, you’ll be just in time to take advantage of their free family fun days which includes cartooning activities.

This is probably one of the most unique attractions in that it is one that is primarily aimed at the kids, although adults can also enjoy taking a nostalgic look back at many of their favourite childhood cartoons.

In fact, if you are an adult and fancy yourself as a comic artist, or you have the UK’s next answer to the Simpsons or Family Guy, then you might want to check out their cartooning courses. These six-week programmes are aimed at ages 18 and above and cost £90.
