Calling all poets: Charles Dickens Museum takes guests on a literary tour of London attractions
Published: Saturday 6th of April 2013
If you have a penchant for poetry and classical literature then the Charles Dickens Museum has to be one of the ultimate London attractions.
Highlights of the attraction include portraits of the man, personal items and manuscripts of his work.
It includes guided walks through some of the old streets of London, which will immerse visitors into some of the myths and legends behind the man.
These Dickensian London Walks take place on Wednesdays between 11am and 5.15pm.
Up until June this year, guests will also get a chance to see the Underground Edition which continues until June 23rd.
This special exhibition will feature an array of art, written words and sounds combined together to tell the story of the local jewish, black, poor and gay communities that existed at the time.
There will also be the chance to view the The Dickens News newspaper - an eight page publication which makes comparisons of society and social issues in Dickensian and contemporary day London.
