Published: Monday 25th of February 2013

There is truly something for everyone when it comes to London Attractions, and the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple is perhaps the most exotic of them all.

The temple stands in the heart of Neasden London and is a true celebration of diversity and multiculturalism in the city.

Not only do visitors get a chance to explore this unique and wonderful building, the architecture alone is a sight to remember.

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is actually Europe’s first Hindu temple, which is built from traditional Indian stonework and marble.

The building contains everything you could possibly want from a tourist attraction. Exhibitions, activities, as well as galleries, plus a chance to learn more about the culture and heritage behind the temple. It also includes the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Museum which features an array of artwork, crafts and paintings.

If you’re planning on paying a visit to this unique attraction, the dress code is smart-casual with no shorts or skirts above the knee.
