London markets attract buyers from across the globe

One of the best reasons to take a trip to London is you get the opportunities to acquaint yourself with so much cool stuff there.
Shopping in the city is about as diverse as it gets, with some great stores to sample in the West End coupled with the biggest names in fashion.
But if you are a real bargain hunter, with an eye for style and sophistication, then consider stopping by some of the city's coolest markets.
These markets typically attract tourists from all over the world and there are plenty to choose from. In fact, we've picked out some of the best ones to help you make up your mind.
One of my personal favourites is Camden market. It has its own character and you can pick up many weird and wonderful clothes here that you simply wouldn't find anywhere else.
In fact it is famous for alternative fashion, and you can find a range of different styles here, including goth, fetish, 50s rock, cyber, and ethnic clothing.
And while you're at it, why not hop on board Jason's Original Canal Boat tour? It actually winds up in Camden Lock, home of the famous weekend market which goes by the same name. In addition, it features live historical commentary from a trained enthusiast.
Another great market to visit is Portobello Road market. It is perhaps one of the UK's most famous markets. It tends to sell clothing and items which are cosmopolitan and artistic in nature.
You can also find many famous high street brands here.
And while you are in and around Portobello Road, why not stop by the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising, which is just a few minutes away from the market. You might also want to take a trip to Kensington Palace, which is close to Portobello Road.
If you have an eye for design and sophistication, then don't forget to hop by Spitalfields market. You can find absolutely everything here. Whether you're into vintage designs, ethical and sustainable jewellery, or handmade accessories - you'll be sure to find it. Like Camden, it is quite 'alternative' and you'll be sure to find many little treasures.
But if food is your thing, then you will absolutely love Borough market. It is the city's most renowned food market, and showcases the best of British produce. Many special events are also held here, and cooking demonstrations, with a lively atmosphere.
