Things to do in London: Photography exhibition at Kew Gardens

People looking for things to do in London next month might want to check out a superb photography exhibition that is opening at Kew Gardens.
The International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition runs from May until autumn each year at Kew Gardens before travelling to other venues across the UK, meaning that visitors have the first opportunity to see this year's incredible images.
More than 100 enlarged photographs will be on show at this most aesthetically pleasing of London attractions, with some of the best amateur and professional shots set to wow the crowds.
There will be seven categories of photograph at the exhibition: Plant Portraits, Garden Views, Wildlife in the Garden, People in the Garden, Wildflowers, Trees and 4 Seasons.
The Kew Gardens website states: "Admire the photographic skill, composition, stunning colours and wonderful garden shots all displayed in an outdoor gallery located near the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Art."
Kew Gardens is conveniently situated just ten miles outside central London and is well served by the Underground, bus and train networks.
