Learn about pollination as part of your things to do in London this summer

Published: Wednesday 30th of June 2010

Visitors planning trips to London attractions can get back in touch with nature this summer at Kew Gardens.

Kids can learn about the process of pollination at the butterfly houses in the Princess of Wales Conservatory.

Live bug displays complement the sculptures of birds, large insects and bats, adding to the learning process.

Summer will see the conservatory blossom in a live exhibition as visitors walk among tropical orchids and ferns amid butterflies assisting the pollination process.

The Butterflies, Bugs and Beasties event will educate children and adults alike about the important role played by these creatures in one of nature's most important processes.

Visitors can also make the most of their summer by attending the London International Festival of Theatre hosted in co-operation with the Institute of Contemporary Arts.

The festival will feature a range of talks, open-air events as well as cabaret and club nights.

Save time and money sightseeing in London with free entry to top attractions in London.
