Visitors planning their trips to London attractions such as the Renoir Cinema can benefit from an unusual educational experience during their time in the capital.
On Saturday, September 25th, Capital Growth Open Gardens Day will allow public access to community-based gardens such as the Highbury New Park Project and the King's Cross Orchard.
It is the perfect opportunity to learn about these initiatives and catch some behind-the-scenes action. Gardeners will also be on hand to disseminate useful advice and clarify any queries that visitors may have had.
Those interested in seeing more than one garden could also benefit from cycle tour and may want to download a map in order to facilitate easy transfer between venues.
Recently, the capital also played host to Origin: The London Craft Fair. The exhibition showcased works of over 200 craft-makers including some established names as well as novices.
Visitors were able to buy works from artists themselves as well as pick up some handy tips for their own craft projects.
