Published: Monday 7th of July 2008

Visitors to London's capital city can enjoy Recycling Week this month at the Dig for Victory allotment garden in St James's Park courtesy of the Churchill Museum from July 21st until July 25th 2008.

A selection of activities are on offer from the Churchill Museum, both at the allotment and at popular London attraction the Churchill Museum itself.

The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms and The Royal Parks is aiming to promote sustainability and recycling at its Second World War-themed allotment.

Complementing the St James's Park Dig for Victory allotment will be an exhibition at the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms called Make do and mend, the War on Waste.

Visitors can learn about clothes rationing, utility clothing and recycling clothes while a production called A Tale of Two Stickies set on a rubbish dump, can help pass on the recycling message to younger visitors.

London Pass holder can receive free entry to this exciting exhibit at the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms.
