Cute ducklings at London Wetland Centre attract visitors looking for best things to do in London
Published: Wednesday 31st of March 2010
People looking for the best things to do in London over Easter will struggle to find a cuter sight than a family of newly hatched ducklings making their way in the world.
That's what visitors to London Wetland Centre can experience over the coming days, which is arguably the most memorable way for kids to spend Easter.
Some of the more tame ducklings can even be seen up close as they take their first steps in the paddling pool.
"Join the demonstrations to meet these Indian runner ducks face-to-face and learn about their development from egg to fluffy duckling," enthuses the London Wetland Centre website.
The special Easter activities are taking place at the much-loved London attraction between April 2nd and 18th, giving parents plenty of time to treat their little ones to a fully-hatched Easter eggs-perience.
A huge variety of birdlife can be seen throughout the year at the London Wetland Centre, with recent confirmed sightings including chiff-chaffs, shipes and swallows.
