Stars enjoy sights at London Zoo
Published: Tuesday 1st of July 2008
It is not just your average holidaymaker who enjoys a walk around one of Britain's most popular zoos it has been revealed, after singer Gwen Stefani and hot Wimbledon favourite Roger Federer were spotted taking a stroll in London Zoo last week.
The five-time Wimbledon tennis champion and number one seed is a friend of the former No Doubt singer and her husband Gavin Rossdale, who is a member of British rock group Bush.
Pregnant Stefani enjoyed a taking look at the monkey enclosure and had a go on a fairground ride, the Mail reports, before later taking a trip to Primrose Hill with Rossdale and son Kingston.
Federer beat Hewitt at Wimbledon earlier this week to secure a place in the quarter finals of the grass surface tournament.
Meanwhile, last week London Zoo celebrated National Insect Week with its first ever exhibition of giant butterfly prints.
