London Zoo Lates provide things to do in London in June and July
Published: Monday 13th of June 2011
London Zoo will be hosting Zoo Lates sessions throughout June and July, offering a unique opportunity for adults to enjoy an evening of fun.
Cocktails, a silent disco, twisted cabaret and animal demonstrations will be taking place at the zoo every Friday evening throughout June and July, providing a unique way to enjoy the London attraction.
Last year was a runaway success, according to the zoo, which will be laying on a selection of drinks at the Penguin Beach Bar for all guests.
Staff will also lay on a barbeque and pre-ordered picnics will be available for visitors to pick up.
Visitors to the capital may even want to return to the zoo during the week, for one of the many academic lectures that take place there.
On June 14th, experts from the University of Oxford will join peers to discuss wildlife conservation and biodiversity in the face of corporate manufacturing demands.
Speakers will include leading zoologist Charles Godfray and Business and Biodiversity Offsets Programme director Kerry ten Kate.
