London Wetland Centre gearing up for Easter fun

Published: Saturday 11th of April 2009

Easter fun in London will not be hard to find, with some of the city's top attractions getting in on the action.

One example is the London Wetland Centre, which promises families a good time right up until April 19th, with various festivities taking place.

Paul Lawston of the centre says: "Our activities are designed to help children learn about wildlife, wetlands and the importance of conservation while inspiring their imagination and creative side."

He adds that the activities include everything from making badges and mobiles to taking part in egg and spoon races.

Every Monday to Friday at 14:00 BST, tourists can learn about how ducklings develop by using a torch to see inside the eggs and see the incubation period for themselves.

With the London Pass, visitors can go to the London Wetland Centre free of charge, saving £8.95 per adult and £4.95 per child, although there may be an extra charge for some of the activities.
