A leading science writer will discuss and sign copies of his new book on the lives of birds at the London Wetland Centre later this month.
Colin Tudge will present Consider the Birds: How They Live and Why They Matter, a follow up to his successful The Secret Life of Trees, at the popular London attraction on November 16th.
The session at the Wetland Centre will see him read from and discuss the book which seeks to uncover the role that birds play in the ecosystem and explore several fascinating aspects of their lives.
With interests ranging from genetics to the relationship between science and religion, Mr Tudge has made documentaries for the BBC and published a number of popular and critically-lauded books on different scientific topics.
The London Wetland Centre, located in Barnes in West London, is run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and is one of its nine specialist wetland centres across the UK.
LondonPass holders can enjoy free entry to the London Wetland Centre, saving £8.95 for adults and £4.95 for children.
