'Jungle all the way' at London Zoo this Christmas

Published: Saturday 6th of December 2008

Much-loved visitor attraction London Zoo is to bring a touch of heat this winter with an exotic theme for its Christmas celebrations.

As the UK heads into its coldest period of the year, the zoo has decided now is the perfect time to unveil Jungle Bells.

Each weekend in December and over the Christmas week from December 22nd to January 4th, the zoo will offer a range of tropical treats for all the family.

Highlights will include a daily Christmas Animals in Action display at noon, which will educate visitors young and old about where in the world the zoo's residents come from.

The Jungle Bells show at the famous Ampitheatre will see keepers select special presents for the animals, who come from all four corners of the earth.

LondonPass holders can gain free entry to London Zoo for free, saving £13.90 for adults and £10.90 for children (based on winter prices).
